Maximum unemployment benefit rises to 1,342 euros. See all social benefits that increase in January
The maximum unemployment benefit is expected to rise by about 36 euros, reaching 1,342 euros in January, according to calculations made by ECO. This increase is due to the adjustment of the Social Support Index (IAS), which is based on economic growth and inflation. The sickness benefit and other allowances will also increase.

The Social Support Index is expected to increase by 2.8% to 537.13 euros, establishing the minimum unemployment benefit at this amount and setting the maximum benefit at 1,342.8 euros.
