The end of the election campaign brings accusations and many undecided voters. Between a Montenegro 'in tatters' and a Cotrim 'buried', who will make it through? And do the polls reflect the reality of voters' choices?

Presidential candidate Luís Marques Mendes said he is 'absolutely convinced', both by his own conviction and by data at his disposal, that he will be the candidate to receive the most votes on the 18th, and he said that undecided voters are essential.

The candidate says his message in this campaign “is centred” on the idea of stability and said he will repeat it “to exhaustion” over the coming days.

Daily tracking poll data also show Marques Mendes regaining some ground on Gouveia e Melo, who is closing in on Cotrim Figueiredo. Seguro is the only candidate in the top five to register a fall in voting intentions, which already reflect the impact of the tracking poll and the start of the campaign. The number of undecided voters has never been so low.
