The A1 motorway remains closed to traffic in both directions following the dam at Casais, in Coimbra. Repair work is already underway, but Brisa has no estimates for when the work will be completed.

Services remain suspended on Coimbra’s urban trains, on the Northern Line between Braga and Lisbon, on the Douro Line between Régua and Pocinho, and on the Oeste Line.

In Alfarelos the Northern Line was also submerged and no trains are running between Coimbra B and Figueira da Foz. One of the main problems is the loss of electricity — power has still not been restored in some areas of the Lower Mondego.

The third day of the election campaign for the presidential runoff will take both candidates to the Aveiro district: Seguro to São João da Madeira and Ventura to Espinho.

A fallen tree has forced trains on the Fertagus service between Setúbal and Lisbon to operate on a single track, causing service disruption and likely delays.

The company recommends that passengers check the status of train services.

DECO says passengers are entitled to accommodation and meals when the cancelled train is the last of the day and there are no alternative transport options.

Work on the line will take place on Sunday and on 28 February and 1 March.

At least four faults have been recorded since the start of January.

The restrictions are due to works on the Lisbon Metro's Circular Line.

An alternative bus service will be provided with clearly marked buses and access for passengers with reduced mobility, but the carriage of bicycles and scooters will not be permitted.
Train services on the Cascais Line will be limited on Friday and in the early hours of Saturday. Passengers are advised to check timetables and expect delays or changes to services.
