Comporta postcard: bad weather partially destroys Carrasqueira Stilt Pier

The Carrasqueira Stilt Pier, in the parish of Comporta, was partially destroyed in the early hours of Monday. Strong winds and a high-tide surge caused heavy damage to the structure and access points of one of the most visited sites in the municipality of Alcácer do Sal.
