Wine Tourism in Portugal joins luxury association Laurel

The Wine Tourism in Portugal group, founded 12 years ago in Porto, has joined Laurel – Association of Excellence Brands. The group specialises in immersive travel, luxury concierge services, and corporate events. Laurel, led by Francisco Carvalheira, promotes Portuguese companies known for quality and innovation in sectors like tourism and gastronomy. With wine tourism now a vital revenue stream for producers, Portugal ranks as the world's second-largest wine tourism destination. CEO Sílvia Ferreira stated that joining Laurel recognises the company's commitment to excellence and its mission to position Portugal as a contemporary luxury destination.
