Lisbon: Guardians of EB1 Rainha Santa Isabel school question grouping change without debate

The parents' association of the Rainha Santa Isabel primary school and kindergarten has contested a decision by Lisbon City Council to move the school from the Padre Bartolomeu de Gusmão grouping to the Manuel da Maia grouping. Parents claim they were never consulted and that the new Educational Charter contains factual errors regarding the school's current status. Helena Silva, a parent representative, highlighted concerns over the impact on students' educational paths and the potential loss of continuity with current teachers and staff. A protest is scheduled for Friday, March 27, at the Municipal Assembly, while officials, including Assembly President André Moz Caldas, have been notified of the community's grievances.
