On the podcast Quatro à Conversa, 24-year-old software engineer Rita Barbosa explained how she uses artificial intelligence in her daily life and how that experience led to the creation of Guardião, an app that identifies and blocks phone scams. The idea was born from a personal story: after her grandmother was the victim of a scam and lost more than four thousand euros, Rita decided to create a solution to protect vulnerable people.
