A man of Asian origin was threatened by a gang in a mini-market in Sacavém, Loures.

Two of the robbers were armed with firearms and the other two with bladed weapons. The owner was not injured, but the men took the till.

Armando Baptista, commander of the Sacavém firefighters, together with his colleague Catarina Melo, delivered the baby in the ambulance. The baby and the mother are well and were transported to the Alfredo da Costa Maternity Hospital in Lisbon.
