Portuguese authorities have suspended 678 pension payments to emigrants living in Luxembourg and Switzerland after beneficiaries failed to provide the required proof-of-life documentation. Payments will remain on hold until recipients submit the necessary verification to reactivate their pensions.

Proof of life had to be completed by 30 November, but Portugal's National Pensions Centre accepted proofs of life submitted after that date.
