The opening of a new nutrition study programme at the University of Coimbra's Faculty of Pharmacy has been announced, despite the market being saturated. The Order of Nutritionists warns that the lack of a binding opinion on new courses, combined with the continuous increase in student intake, is creating an unsustainable situation. This leads to professional instability, precarious employment, and the emigration of graduates, as the current number of vacancies far exceeds the market's capacity.
