Several batches of infant milk powder sold in France and abroad, including products from Nestlé and Lactalis, were recently recalled due to the possible presence of cereulide, a toxin produced by certain bacteria.

After Nestlé, ASAE has warned about batches of infant formula. No cases of illness have so far been reported, it says.

The action follows the detection of a potential toxin. ASAE advises retailers and distributors to immediately withdraw from sale all batches identified on the list.
