Carla Maciel (part 2): “Time slips through my fingers. I dream of making a horror film and a Greek tragedy. I am stubborn. I will succeed.”
Listen here to the second part of the conversation with actress and director Carla Maciel, who reveals many of the dreams she is pursuing and how, at this stage of life where her children are older, she wants to fulfil herself more as an actress. “I want to be everywhere.” The actress refuses to see the passing of years as an obstacle, despite the cult of youth in certain fiction. “50-year-old actresses on television usually get the grandmother roles. I don't feel old. I want to work until I'm 80.” Carla also shares how important it was for her to have completed a master's degree at a more mature stage of her life.
