Hugo Soares has requested an inquiry into an alleged serious breach of parliamentary duties after Isabel Moreira stated in the plenary that the bills proposed by the PSD, Chega, and CDS-PP—all concerning the legal framework for gender and name changes in the civil registry—'ratified the murder of Gisberta', a transgender woman who was assaulted and killed by a group of teenagers in Porto in 2006.
