Meo, Nos, and Vodafone will deduct from next month's bill the days that customers in the affected municipalities were unable to make calls or use the internet due to the passage of the Kristin depression, in accordance with the law. Vodafone Portugal said today that the restoration of its services in Leiria, one of the districts that suffered the most damage due to Storm Kristin, still faces difficulties because it depends on access to the affected infrastructure.
Teams from MEO, Vodafone and NOS have been working on site to restore services, but there is still severely damaged infrastructure that could delay the normalisation of services. The central region was worst affected, with Leiria reporting the most serious damage.
