Via the email address empresas@cm-coimbra.pt, businesses can report damage to their premises or equipment, or losses affecting their business activity.
The platform allows users to submit photographs of damage, particularly to private homes, the municipality says. Reconnaissance flights also help Leiria to document the incidents.
The mayor urged that “everyone, when they are able and without taking risks, photograph their damage — especially to their residential properties and buildings — and submit them to the platform.”
The 'Estragos' channel is an initiative intended to allow individuals or organisations to register damage.
Águas de Coimbra also issued the same clarification on Friday, assuring that the water reaching consumers' taps is safe.
The measure is also available to foreign citizens residing in Penela.
