Medical treatment news in Portugal

The pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk is preparing to introduce oral tablet versions of the obesity treatment Wegovy to the Portuguese market. While injectable versions are already available, the new oral dosages have been approved by the European Medicines Agency (Agência Europeia de Medicamentos or EMA).
