In memory of Pope Francis

Today marks the first anniversary of the death of Pope Francis. After a year of change and renewal, his presence remains with us, both through the memory of his works and his unique charisma. In Cascais, the Pope left a lasting impact, having been the first to visit our municipality during the World Youth Day, where he visited the Scholas Occurrentes headquarters. This project continues to foster values of compassion and humility among our youth, helping to build a future through education, art, and community service. As we reflect on his legacy, we are reminded that solidarity must remain at the heart of local governance to ensure a society that includes everyone.
