Rafaela Cardeal wins INCM Essay Prize with work on João Cabral de Melo Neto
Brazilian literature researcher Rafaela Cardeal won the Imprensa Nacional/Vasco Graça Moura Essay Prize with the work “Uma lição de poesia: João Cabral de Melo Neto e Portugal” (A Lesson in Poetry: João Cabral de Melo Neto and Portugal), an “indispensable study” of the relations between Brazilian and Portuguese poets.
