Luís Filipe Menezes corrects IRS increase with IL proposal
The Mayor of Gaia had proposed a 0.5% increase in IRS, which was approved with votes from PSD, CDS-PP, IL, and Chega. The Liberals backed down in the Municipal Assembly and Menezes conceded.
Chamber approves 0.5% increase in IRS with opposition from PS
The proposal was positively voted on by the councillors from the PSD/CDS-PP/IL coalition (five) and the sole member from Chega, while the five councillors from PS voted against it.
