Interview with Kim Gordon: “I feel bad when a girl comes up to me and says I inspired her to play bass. I am an artist who makes music”
“I like the vibe of Portugal. It’s a bit like California, even though it rains more here. The food is great,” confesses Kim Gordon, who is much more than the “former Sonic Youth bassist,” as she insists on pointing out. “Play Me,” her third solo album, was the pretext for us to meet the 72-year-old American in Lisbon last November.
