New dam and maintenance of hydraulic works crucial to prevent flooding on the Mondego

The construction of the Girabolhos dam, in the municipality of Seia, and the maintenance of the Mondego's hydraulic works downstream of Coimbra are two essential conditions to prevent flooding in that river basin, farmers and association leaders said.
