Emergency departments closed: Gynaecology and obstetrics services failing in Portimão, Barreiro and Abrantes
Across the country, 111 emergency departments are open and 27 are operating under a new pilot-project model.
Obstetric emergencies open on Saturday, two close on Sunday
Saturday breaks the trend of recent weekends, with all obstetrics and gynaecology emergencies operating. On Sunday, those in Vila Franca and Setúbal hospitals will close. Others will have restrictions.
