Michael O'Leary said Ryanair will expand only in Porto and Faro and accused the Government of having Portela's capacity “artificially limited” to protect TAP during privatisation. He also reaffirmed Ryanair's withdrawal from the Azores starting in March.
TAP will reach the end of 2025, the scheduled date to conclude the restructuring plan agreed with Brussels, with much of the measures implemented but with commitments still outstanding, opening the door to a possible extension of the timetable.
