Value of PRR works suspended due to bad weather is around 500 million euros
The value of projects under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) suspended due to Storm Kristin is estimated at 500 million euros, Minister of Economy and Territorial Cohesion, Manuel Castro de Almeida, stated in Pombal. The minister assured that Portugal will not lose European funding, noting that the government is working with the European Commission to reallocate funds to other investments and ensure projects are completed. Prime Minister Luís Montenegro also confirmed that Brussels has guaranteed Portugal will not lose or return any PRR funds due to delays caused by the recent extreme weather.
