To end the 'nightmare' of flooding: €63 million works on the Ribeira de Algés in Oeiras get under way
The €63 million plan to tackle flooding in Algés was handed in person today to the Minister for the Environment by the Mayor of Oeiras at a ceremony marking the agreement with the government to support the interventions that will go ahead.

Mobility-related projects will continue to be most visible in Lisbon, Porto and Coimbra. Drainage works in the capital will close the metro at Santa Apolónia. The Algarve line will be electrified.
