SATA launches 'Azores Mission' to boost summer flights
SATA announced a 'Azores Mission' to prioritise and increase air links between the Azores and mainland Portugal, planning to operate about 800 weekly flights to and from the archipelago and to cut or suspend routes with lower performance. Inter‑island capacity will be similar to summer 2025, with extra services on busy routes and expanded connections to the US and Canada also planned.
