LivemodeTV wants to revolutionise sports broadcasting: “Sport is the great asset of streaming today”

LivemodeTV, one of the rights holders for the 2026 World Cup in Portugal, aims to redefine sports broadcasting consumption in the country. Following its success in Brazil with CazéTV, the company is bringing its model of relaxed, youth-oriented sports coverage to Europe, starting with Portugal. Led by executives Fábio Medeiros and João Mesquita, the company views the World Cup as a long-term strategic entry point into the European market, focusing on digital-native audiences and free-to-air streaming via YouTube to build community and mass appeal.
