In the run-up to the second round, André Ventura travelled to Switzerland to seek the votes of emigrants.

Ventura secured almost twice as many votes as Seguro among the diaspora — enough for him to call us, the emigrants, fascists.

André Ventura, of Chega, received 48.81% of the votes from Brazilians and Portuguese who went to the polls at the ten polling stations in Brazil for the presidential election. António José Seguro received 21.90%.

With counting in the emigration constituency nearly complete, Ventura is the clear winner with more than 40% of the diaspora's votes, followed by Seguro with 23.24% and Cotrim with 15.50%.
