Bondstone creates venture capital unit and aims to raise 50 million for deep tech

Portuguese asset manager Bondstone has announced the creation of Bondstone Ventures, a new venture capital arm focused on deep tech and disruptive technologies in Southern Europe. The initiative marks a strategic shift for the group, expanding beyond private equity and real estate into high-scalability sectors like quantum computing, AI, and robotics. The firm aims to raise 50 million euros for its first fund, leveraging its regulatory approval from the CMVM to support companies from seed to early-stage. CEO Paulo Loureiro and partner João Pedro Silva highlight the team's blend of scientific and financial expertise as a key competitive advantage.
