The international contemporary dance festival Spring Forward is being held in Portugal for the first time, hosted in the city of Guimarães.

From symphonic body experiences to a “choreographed sensory Carnival”, in its sixth edition, the Transborda festival, in Almada and Lisbon, intertwines relationships, memories, and sensibilities.

At the 10th DDD Festival — Days of Dance, two shows shone through their bursting and internal combustion: Adorno and Bixa Bixo arrived to disrupt archetypes and solar systems.

Split between Porto, Matosinhos, and Gaia, the dance festival begins this Wednesday and runs until the 19th. The programme includes Alice Ripoll, Diana Niepce, Eric Minh Cuong Castaing, and Tânia Carvalho.

From 5 to 14 February, the 15th edition of the Guimarães international dance festival brings together Olga Roriz, Akram Khan, Tânia Carvalho, Emira Goro and Marie Chouinard, among others.
