Paula de Magalhães: "I thought it impossible to break into the acting industry. Lisbon seemed so big and distant to me"

From Vizela to the capital with a dream in her luggage, Paula qualified in Veterinary Nursing, a profession she practised for two years until a brief relationship with an actor awakened a desire she had kept since childhood: she wanted to be an actress. She quit her job, left everything behind and moved to the capital. At 32, we saw her take to the stage at the Golden Globes.
