BdP sets banks' capital reserve requirements for 2026

The Bank of Portugal (BdP) has established the capital reserve requirements for major banks to be implemented from January 1, 2026, as announced by the financial supervisor. According to a statement, the institutions include BCP, Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD), Santander, Novo Banco, BPI, and others.
