The Government approved a licensing regime to authorise tests of autonomous vehicles. At the Council of Ministers, the rules for vehicle conversion were also simplified.

The measure covers passenger vehicles, single-occupancy vehicles and freight vehicles.

A tender for the second section of the high-speed line between Porto and Lisbon was launched on Thursday. Supervision of lifts and funiculars moves to the IMT, ending the existing “legal vacuum”.
