The Food and Economic Safety Authority (ASAE) announced today that it has seized 398 units of counterfeit aphrodisiac food supplements intended for online distribution.
Following these inspections, seven administrative offence proceedings were initiated.

The seized red and white wine, which featured labelling with “various irregularities, including the omission of mandatory information”, had already been bottled, according to the ASAE.

The inspection operations by ASAE took place in Lamego, Fafe, Maia, Lousada, Viseu, and Tondela.
An industrial machine was also seized.

ASAE and ENSE inspected 70 fuel stations, issuing 17 infringement notices for missing mandatory five-year inspections, unfair commercial practices, and fuel measurement inaccuracies. Additionally, seven fuel samples were collected for laboratory analysis, as fuel prices rise again this Monday by 16 cents for diesel and 9 cents for petrol.

ASAE carried out 39 inspection actions at fuel retailers.

The enforcement authority also opened an administrative offence proceeding over the lack of an industrial licence.
