European Parliament recommends remuneration for artists whose content is used by AI

The European Parliament approved a report this Tuesday proposing remuneration for artists whose works are used by generative artificial intelligence systems, with the aim of protecting the European creative sector. This report was approved at the European Parliament (EP) plenary session in Strasbourg, with 460 votes in favour, 71 against, and 88 abstentions.
