The measures that limit new constructions and land alterations in the area of the future Lisbon airport in Alcochete will come into effect this Saturday, aiming to prevent changes that could compromise or increase the cost of the project.
Lisbon Airport is expected to remain in operation for at least another 10 to 12 years while the Alcochete airport project progresses. The assurance was given by the Minister of Infrastructure at the inauguration of the expansion works for Terminal 2 of Humberto Delgado Airport.
