Tax authority warns of new phishing scams

The Tax and Customs Authority (Autoridade Tributária e Aduaneira or AT) has issued a warning regarding fraudulent emails targeting taxpayers. These messages falsely claim that a tax return requires modification and direct recipients to click malicious links to verify data or make payments. The AT advises that these communications are fake and should be ignored.
