Brazilian funk will take centre stage at a new event in Lisbon this summer. The I Love Baile Funk (ILBF) project will perform alongside singer MC Jacaré on 6 August at Monsantos Open Air, in a show that brings together different styles of the genre. Tickets went on sale on Thursday night (2). Created over ten years ago, I Love Baile Funk began as a DJ set and has since evolved into a stage show, while also expanding into radio and music releases. Inspired by the Brazilian scene, the project has established itself as one of the main platforms for promoting funk in Portugal, with its own identity and a direct connection to urban culture. MC Jacaré, originally from Goiânia, is one of the most popular names in the new generation of Brazilian funk, with millions of listeners on digital platforms. Tickets for the event range from €10 to €25. The 'ILBF x MC Jacaré' event takes place from 5 pm to 11 pm at Monsantos Open Air, with entry permitted until 9 pm and an age restriction of 16+.
