The International Air Transport Association (IATA) appealed today to various regulatory authorities to coordinate and be transparent should it become necessary to ration aviation fuel, especially in Europe. With the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, the situation may be averted, especially as the European Commission spokesperson states there are no signs of shortages that would lead to flight cancellations.
