He is one of the most recognised figures in philosophy in Portugal, combining academic life with a notable presence in the public debate. That is the case with the lectures Caeiro has been giving to full houses at the CCB. This year he continues the series “The Truth of the Lie”, with sessions running until June — a kind of open philosophy class that presents itself as resistance to the pandemic of lies and the growing spread of disinformation.
