The first major exhibition dedicated to the photographic work of Major José Veloso de Castro (1869–1945), who arrived in Angola in 1902 to accompany military missions with the aim of carrying out topographical surveys, reveals a perspective beyond mere colonial documentation. It is on display at the Military Museum in Lisbon until 1 March.
