Workers at Nobre in Rio Maior are on strike this Monday, the 6th, marking their 28th stoppage since 2023 due to the company's refusal to negotiate their list of demands. The strike was called by the Sintab union and lasts all day. Workers are demanding a 150-euro salary increase, improvements to meal and night-shift allowances, the implementation of seniority bonuses, 25 days of annual leave, and an end to precarious hiring. The union stated last week that workers regret the company's lack of willingness to negotiate and decided to strike again. A new motion with demands was submitted to the company's management in March. Distribution workers are also on strike today and plan to stop again at the end of the year.
