A show celebrating the diversity of the Portuguese language, a concert by the band Vizinhos, and a performance by comedian Herman José are among the six events included in this year's April Festivities in Lisbon, the city council announced. The programme, released by the municipal company EGEAC, kicks off on April 11 at Terreiro do Paço with a performance by the National Republican Guard's (GNR) Mounted Band. Other highlights include the 'Por Um Mundu Nôbu' show at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, featuring artists such as Calema and Carolina Deslandes, and performances at the Beato Innovation District and Cinema São Jorge. This year, the Festival Política will not be part of the celebrations, a decision the city justified as a move to support new projects.
