The family of Juan Francisco Dos Ramos believes the Portuguese–Venezuelan, son of Madeiran parents and a colonel in the National Guard, may be on the list of political prisoners to be released in the coming days. There are at least five Portuguese–Venezuelans recorded as detained for political reasons.
