The Minister of Education, Science and Innovation, Fernando Alexandre, stated on Friday that the rejection of the unfreezing of tuition fees is “a terrible decision for Portuguese higher education” and signifies “a historical setback”. He made these comments to journalists in Braga during the closing session of the 20th anniversary of the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL).
