Legendary American comedian Jerry Seinfeld will perform live in Portugal for the first time on November 1st, headlining the MEO Commedia a La Carte Fest, a new international comedy festival in Lisbon held at the MEO Arena. Tickets for Seinfeld's show will be available starting next Monday, April 27th, for Waiting List subscribers. Tickets for other festival shows are already available via meocommediafest.pt, meoblueticket.pt, and MEO stores. Running from October 29th to November 1st, the festival celebrates the legacy of Commedia a La Carte and features performances by Herman José, César Mourão, Vasco Palmeirim, Pedro Ribeiro, Vera Fernandes, Inês Aires Pereira, and musicians Carolina Deslandes, Tatanka, and Bárbara Tinoco. Clarice Falcão's show 'Truque' will also debut in Portugal, with Cebola Mol and Cuca Monga also confirmed. Seinfeld's career rose to prominence after his 1981 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. In 1989, he co-created the hit series 'Seinfeld' with Larry David, which won numerous awards and was named the greatest television show of all time by TV Guide in 2012. Recent projects include Netflix specials 'Jerry Before Seinfeld' and '23 Hours to Kill', as well as writing, producing, and starring in films like 'Comedian', 'Bee Movie', and the recent comedy 'Unfrosted'.
