Restoration of the Royal Chapel at the Sintra National Palace to restore the 'splendour' of the Mudéjar ceiling

A 22-month, €2.7 million conservation and restoration project is underway at the Royal Chapel of the Sintra National Palace. The project aims to recover original colours and patterns lost during 20th-century interventions, with visitors able to observe the restoration work in progress from the upper choir.
