The Penha Longa luxury resort in Sintra has been sold to L Catterton, an investment vehicle backed by the French luxury group LVMH, which owns brands such as Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior, in partnership with Cedar Capital Partners. The value of the deal for the asset was not disclosed.
