The man arrested for throwing a Molotov cocktail during the March for Life in Lisbon on Saturday was ordered on Monday, March 23, to report to authorities periodically and is prohibited from visiting the site of the incident. The 39-year-old suspect, who was not part of the protest, threw the device at a crowd of approximately 500 people, though it did not ignite upon impact. Police reported that the incident caused alarm and that some participants were splashed with flammable liquid. Three other individuals allegedly linked to an anarchist group were later identified. Minister of Internal Administration Luís Neves condemned the act as 'violent extremism'.
