Prime Minister Luís Montenegro announced this Wednesday, during the fortnightly debate in Parliament, a new package of measures to respond to rising energy costs, including the deferral of Social Security contributions for the freight transport sector and a request to the European Commission to extend mechanisms that allow for lower energy prices.
